Since 2019, Mr. Pate has been practicing law in New York City with a focus on prosecuting class and private actions on behalf of institutional investors. He has helped represent clients on matters related to corporate governance, shareholder rights and securities litigation. 

Born and raised in Staten Island, John received his baccalaureate degree from New York University Stern School of Business. He then went on to pursue his law degree and

graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. Now established back in his hometown, Mr. Pate approaches his work with a profound sense of dedication to the community that has shaped him.
